Nicole True Attorney

Nicole graduated second in her class from St. Mary’s School of Law in 2004. She has been practicing since 2004. Nicole practices state and federal criminal defense and immigration law. Her primary interests include representing undocumented workers and citizens from other countries detained under state and federal law.

Sandra Morales – Attorney

María Villareal – Legal Assistant

Maria is originally from the Rio Grande Valley. She graduated from Texas State in 2011. She collaborated with Texas Criminal Justice Coalition and brought her experience to this firm.

Maria welcomes the opportunity to establish a professional trust between the clients and the law firm.

Cathy McDowell – Legal Assistant

Cathy McDowell is a native born Austinite. She joined the Garcia and True team in December 2012. Prior to Garcia and True, Cathy was employed with the City of Pflugerville as Deputy Clerk. She also worked for the Texas Department of Public Safety in the Fail to Appear program with Omnibase Services for 7 years. She co-owned a construction business with her husband and has been involved with the Youth Group at her church since 2006.

Cathy has a passion to work with the community and believes that America’s beauty is in our cultural diversity.
